Be it resolved that this General Synod:
Approve the amendments to the Long Term Disability Plan Pre-2005 as approved by the Council of General Synod by deleting the underlined portions and adding the bold portions as shown on the attached copy of the document.

EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION
As a result of the funding deficiency of $4.7 million for the LTD Plan Pre-2005, in November 2007, on the recommendations of the Pension Committee, the Council of General Synod approved amendments to Section G.4 to ensure that the payment of some of the operating expenses for this plan are properly paid outside of the plan. This amendment is effective July 1, 2006.
