EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The mission of the Anglican Church of Canada calls us to transform the unjust structures of society. There are few structures more unjust than legislation that persecutes someone for being as God created them. We intend this motion to show the support of the members of the Anglican Church of Canada for those in sexual minorities who are threatened with a variety of consequences (including death) for their sexuality.
