Be it resolved that this General Synod:

amend section 8 b) of the Constitution of the General Synod by adding a clause vii) as follows:

vii) the National Indigenous Anglican Bishop.

EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

This resolution is a companion to the resolution to amend the Declaration of Principles to make the National Indigenous Anglican Bishop a member of the Order of Bishops in the General Synod.

PROCEDURE REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION:

This resolution must be passed by a two-thirds majority in each Order at this session of the General Synod.
