The Council of the North: a ministry of the whole church
The Council of the North is a group of Canadian Anglican dioceses supported by grants from General Synod. The council spans from the Arctic, to the Yukon, across northern and central British Columbia, all the way over to northern Quebec and Labrador.
In these parts of the country, costs are high but financial resources are scarce. The Canadian Anglicans who work there are creative and energetic in providing pastoral and sacramental ministry to isolated communities.
