Archdeacon John Robertson, national gift planning officer for the Department of Philanthropy, talks about how his work at General Synod connects with “safeguarding the integrity of creation.”

The overall mandate of the Department of Philanthropy is to support, enhance, and better coordinate fundraising throughout the entire church—not only for General Synod, but for dioceses and parishes as well. The department hopes to increase fundraising development through projects like the Anglican Appeal and Gift Planning.
