For Kyle Wagner, the experience of participating in the Theological Students’ International Intern Program was invaluable. While in South Africa, he “proclaimed the good news of the gospel,” and now he proclaims it back in Canada: “I can come back and I can share my experiences with my peers, with other priests, at schools—just in the community in general.”
The Theological Students International Intern Program, a facet of the Partnerships Departmentof the General Synod, helps Canadian theological students to participate in a three-month summer placement in other parts of the Anglican Communion.
Interns like Kyle, and volunteers involved with other projects like Volunteers in Mission, gain important cross-cultural experience and form international relationships through their work.
