BE IT RESOLVED:
That Canon XI be amended
i) by deleting sections 1, 2 and 4
ii) by deleting the words "and in consultation with the Advisory Board" in section 3
iii) in section 5, add the words "of Information Resources" after the word "Director"
iv) renumber the sections accordingly.
EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
If the change in the structure of the Information Resources Committee (Resolution A-25) is approved, this resolution will be presented to General Synod to bring the Canon in line with the change in the Constitution. It will eliminate the Anglican Book Centre Advisory Board and transfer its functions to the Information Resources Committee.
