Subject: Amendments to the Regulations of Canon IX

Be it resolved that this General Synod:

Approve the amendments to the Regulations of Canon IX as approved by the Council of General Synod by deleting the underlined portions and adding the bold portions as shown on the attached copy of the Regulations.

EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION

One amendment is of a house keeping nature and the other amendments are made to comply with the tax rules which changed the age at which members must start their pension from 69 to 71.
