Subject: Amendments to the Regulations of Canon VIII

Be it resolved that this General Synod:

Approve the amendments to the Regulations of Canon VIII as approved by the Council of General Synod by deleting the underlined portions and adding the bold portions as shown on the attached copy of the Regulations

EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Some of the amendments to the Regulations are of a housekeeping nature, some are as a result of the actuarial valuations and some are to comply with the changes in the tax rules.
