The Right Rev. George Elliott, suffragan bishop of Toronto (York-Simcoe), explains how the Anglican Journalhelps “to transform unjust structures of society.”

The Anglican Journal offers a different perspective than secular newspapers in that it describes what the church is doing, the difference the church is trying to make, and the struggles the church is facing. Bishop George Elliott hopes it to be “the catalyst that challenges Anglicans across the country about their faith—about what God is calling them to do in the world.”

The Anglican Journal reports on both Canadian and world issues, and in this video, Bishop Elliot describes how the Anglican Journal is able to raise awareness about struggles in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan.
