Subject: Canons — References to the Financial Management Committee

Be it resolved that this General Synod:
amend Canon II (Corporate Seal), Canon XI (Anglican Book Centre), and the Rules of Order and Procedure by striking out the words “Financial Management and Development Committee” wherever they appear and substituting the words “Financial Management Committee”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE/BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
These are housekeeping amendments consequent upon the change in the name of the Committee.
PROCEDURE REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION:
This resolution must be passed by a two-thirds majority in the Order of Bishops and a two-thirds majority in the Orders of Clergy and Laity voting together.
