Dignity, Inclusion, and Fair Treatment

This resolution was carried in voting by orders. Carried in voting by dioceses: 24 in favour; 5 opposed; one tied.

seconded by: The Most Rev. Thomas Morgan from the Diocese of Saskatoon

Note: The mover and the seconder must be members of the General Synod and be present in the House when the resolution is before the synod for debate.

BE IT RESOLVED:

That this General Synod adopt the Affirmation of Dignity, Inclusion, and Fair Treatment and commend it to each diocese for implementation, with the further recommendation that a progress report be compiled with information on the implementation in each diocese and be brought back for consideration by General Synod in 2004.
